While we’re trawling through the deluge (!) of New York shots, here are a few taken after our return to Manchester.

The day we arrived, my priority was not to fall asleep. I don’t sleep in aeroplanes (and I’m secretly cross with people that do), but to fall asleep when I got home, around noon would leave me jet-lagged for the next day. So the only alternative was to stay awake.

We went food shopping, in out local outdoor/supermarket. I was too cross with the world to carry my SLR, so I took the Powershot A590 in my pocket.
