As a fan of Studio Ghibi, I was pretty excited to hear a new movie was coming out by Hayao Miyazaki and was even more pumped to hear that it was about a bunch of really little people. Even though The Secret World of Arrietty is based more on The Borrowers book series, I read The Littles when I was…little…loads and loads of times and they’re basically the same thing: really small people running around and trying not to be seen by the humans. And now to find out a movie was being made about it AND it was a Studio Ghibi made me choke on my own spit. Whoo ee! I had to see it for myself.
