Just saw this animation on Firstshowing.net and had to spread the word. A film by animator Wes Ball was recently uploaded to Vimeo and it’s getting a lot of press. Wes Ball has been working in the movie/gaming industry for some time and apparently this short is his AVATAR. His baby, if you will and when you watch it you will quickly see why. Set in a super post-apocalyptic world the story follows a man on a quest. What’s the quest? We have yet to find out, but whatever he seeks to find there are forces at work trying to stop him. This film is still a work in progress, but so far I’m sold. Visceral is the only word I can use to describe this film. It’s like playing Uncharted and watching TERMINATOR 2  at the same time.  I’m sure it won’t be long til we hear that…
