Who doesn’t love a flower? Well, maybe our old neighbor Roy who once grumbled about a couple of gorgeous Oriental Poppies growing in his yard: “Hrmmph, ya can’t eat ’em!” And while you can’t eat the flowers at the Macy’s Flower Show, you can smell them! And look at them! And they sure are purdy!

This year’s theme, Brasil, promises you’ll be “swept away to a bold, lush, tropical world inspired by the vibrant plants and flowers of Brasil.” A flower show…for the kids? Yes! I was skeptical too when I brought my little man last year, but he really enjoyed it. Younger kids will love the explosion of color. For added fun, you can play “Spot-the-Pelican” or hand over the iPhone and let your mini-photog capture the loveliness. And don’t forget, there’s always Candyland.

You’ll love it…you’ll love it not. You’ll love it!
