I gave up on Anime about six or seven years ago, but somehow I got wind of this and it’s produced by Shinichirō Watanabe of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo fame and it definitely shows.

I’m only a few episodes in so I can’t tell what its really about, but the main character Michiko Malandro is half naked through out the series thus far so that’s gotta count for something, right?

Also, there’s a unique blend of Japanese and Brazilian culture and the music much like Watanabe’s previous productions sets the theme of the show.
