It had been eight months since I had finished my walk to Bridgwater. It was now early summer and time to get cracking again on my End to End walk. Over the winter I had come to the conclusion that I would be better off linking Sheffield and Manchester by doing short walks from train stations when I was travelling to and from my sister’s house rather than my original plan to do it via the Trans Pennine Trail which would need some time to reach.
