Global Forestry Investments was founded in 2008 by Bowers and his business partner Andrew Skeene, in order to create a stable market that encourages individuals to diversify their investment portfolios with the addition of plots of teak wood trees grown in Brazil. Investors receive dividends every three years when the tress are thinned, and then reap a profit of approximately ten percent once the trees mature. The returns on investment are beneficial to the clients that Global Forestry Investments holds and the business itself holds true to green values.
