I’ve always considered Opus One as a place to go for a special occasion, a treat if you like. And I’ve treated the odd lady to the boudoir style dining experience – a setting that wouldn’t feel misplaced in Amsterdam’s red light district. A meal for my mum’s birthday therefore was no exception (to my treating a lady, that is) and so I booked a table in November.
