If you’re looking for something to do over the Christmas Holidays can I recommend a visit to Manchester City Art Galleries. The current exhibition is astonishingly good and will prove popular with all ages. The First Cut features a remarkable range of contemporary artists who are using paper in their work. There’s Rob Ryan, Su Blackwell, there’s even a sculpture made from a burger bag!
