This weekend was the most fun and action packed weekend so far in Rio. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, Friday night was the free Seu Jorge concert in Copacabana/Leme beach. The “Batalha das Quadras” was sponsored by Nike to celebrate the new CBF Team Uniform as well as young futebol players hoping to gain fame.

A Batalha das Quadras é a celebração da cultura do futebol brasileiro. Enquanto os garotos de 16 a 19 anos mostram seu jogo e buscam o título na grama, society, quadra e areia, diversas atrações agitam a arena montada em Copacabana. São 3 dias de shows, presença de artistas, estrelas do esporte brasileiro e outras surpresas.
