N55’s Walking House enables people to live a peaceful nomadic life, moving slowly and gathering energy from the wind and sun. Its six autonomous legs are design to walk on any surface, with minimal impact on the ground, moving slowly at a human pace. It marches thanks to a touchscreen interface; each leg can be moved independently and it reaches a maximum speed of 60 meters per hour.  The Walking House was constructed from a steel framework, aluminum, wood, and polycarbonate windows, perhaps evoking Buckminster Fuller. But it could be made from a variety of different materials. With built-in furniture, this innovative living module has a central small wood-burning stove, a composting toilet, and food can be grow on its roof.
