Iconic singer Morrissey was featured on Victoria Wood’s Nice Cup Of Tea, where he explained how the British had lost their traditional sense of tea, joked how tea defended the country from Nazi Germany and laughed off the gift from the presenter.

The former Smiths singer has always been a controversial figure and it is definitely a case of ‘love him or hate him’ with the Manchester man, Moz’s sharp wit is second to none however and in this clip of the programme, aired on BBC 2 on Wednesday night, he playfully mocks Wood who gives as good as she gets with a quip about Morrissey getting married.

If you like tea and Morrissey then this is worth a few minutes of your time.
