Numerical Order: A cruel society

Throughout history there has always been a strong pecking order within our society. Where you sat on this hierarchy was based on the colour of your skin, how much money you earned, where you lived, who you knew, things that don’t really make up who you truly are. Nonetheless this is how people were ranked. Numerical order, so to speak.
I feel like society is slowly shifting. We are becoming way more accepting of those people who are “different” – some of these people are starting to be seen as inspiring, beautifully unique. If only people could always be this accepting of “different” – not judge based on stereotype or ignorance. This world would be a better place if people stopped pointing at the little guy, stopped naming him Zero. Everyone is individual and unique. No one deserves to be bullied for it.
