When I went to art college all those years ago one of my least favourite subjects was art history. I’m not too sure why that was. I’m interested in history and I’ve always been really keen to see different styles of design, art, sculpture and photography. So why didn’t the lessons hold my attention? Probably because of the way they were taught. Endless hours of reading dusty text books about long dead painters that at the time I thought had no relevance to my design.
