Having one of those days? Just need a little pick-me-up? Well today I present to you two amazing, aww-inducing films. These are created by the artist Madeline Sharafian, who studies animation at the California Institute of the Arts. Sharafian utilizes a simplistic and light-hearted animation style. Her films are only 1-2 minutes long, so you definitely have the time to watch them.
It’s hard not to smile when watching “Omelette.” Maybe because it’s just ridiculously adorable. The film tells the story of a dog helping out his tired owner—in Ratatouille style. Sharafian also selected an excellent song for this film, “Águas de Março,” sung by Elis Regina. This film was a bit personal to me since I have a dog similar to the one shown in the film. It reminds me that no matter how hard life gets, my dog will always be there.
