Panama Hatty’s Grill (International)

My dining companion for the night, and I, were originally going to go to a restaurant in the city centre, but changed our minds at the last minute to come here which is a bit closer to home. Note: there is a Panama Hatty’s in the city centre as well.

Anyway, we opted for the set-menu (2 courses for £11.95), and torn for choice on what to order, we decided to share the starters.

Starters (from left to right):

Mushroom and Stilton Bake with cream and fresh herbs, served with crostini.

Baked nachos – tortilla chips with melted cheese, salsa and soured cream.

I much preferred the mushroom bake over the nachos. As much as I like baked nachos in general, the ratio of the melted cheese to the salsa and soured cream just wasn’t enough! Note: I’m a big fan of melted cheese (depending on what it is complementing).
