Our lead artist at STAG, Mark, is no longer able to attend sessions, which we found the same weekend we decided to move the session to a different part of the building. Overall, the move is a good idea for a number of reasons, but it has one or two downsides. Understandably, some in the group are feeling a bit unsettled.

We had already discussed bringing in another artist to work with the group, which of course we’ve had to revisit, with a view to a more medium to long term plan. The new artist, Ian, will visit the group over the next week to work out how best to support them in the run up to our exhibition in December, and develop some ideas around how he might be able to support us during 2014.
