It’s always nice to try out new lunchtime eating places in Manchester, and the latest that I can tick off my list is the Rosylee Tea Rooms, which opened in Manchester’s Northern Quarter fairly recently.
It’s quite a unique place, particularly for that side of the city centre. The décor is quite a nice mix of traditional with a contemporary twist, and is quite striking with it’s the black panelled window frames, long wooden tables painted glossy white, and quirky features such as the leafy vines adorning the ceiling and the glass bell jars on the tables.
It felt quite a bit more stylish than a workday lunch venue, but that’s what we popped in for. The menu has loads to choose from for lunch and evening meals, and the afternoon tea and cake menu also looks tempting, but because it was a cold wet day I went for fresh…
