It’s been a few months now and Renata and I are settling into life in Manchester.

So far the experience has taught us a lot about ourselves, and a lot about the world. There are lots of social observations that we have made, and it has been interesting to see while there can be great differences or astonishing similarities between people and cultures, that there is in fact about the same proportion of both wonderful people and idiots in many places of the world.
