And now, ladies and gents, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – here’s the paella valenciana recipe I learned at The Workshop. Let’s get right down to it.
Ingredients:
- Ferraura (aka choqueta)
- Garrofón
- Roget
- (The three abovementioned ingredients are all types of beans. Ferraura is a big, flat, green bean type. From the pods of the garrofón, you remove the beans inside, which are reminiscent of big, white, lima beans, adding only the beans to the paella. Roget beans are about the same size and shape as the ferraura beans, but their coloring is a mottled, maroon and green.)
- Chicken
- Rabbit
- Tomato
- Paprika
- Saffron
- Rice (1 kilo for 10 people)
- Yellow food coloring
