Manchester Christmas Markets

After attempting to go to the Christmas Markets in Manchester a few weeks ago with all five of us and it was so busy that we didn’t even really get to see much…I attempted again this morning.  I left Dan and the kids home this time though and went alone!  There are over 300 stalls and chalets set up in various areas of the city that sell gifts, clothing, toys, jewellery, and other craft items from all over Europe.  I saw stalls from France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, Italy, and England.  The markets aren’t just about buying gifts for friends, family, and yourself…there’s also amazing food and drink there with all sorts of European flair.  I of course went for the bratwurst first thing since I didn’t want to wait in line last time!  There was also stalls that were selling Italian goodies, Hungarian goulash, strudels, crepes, waffles, fudge…
