{Minor updates 15th January 2014 to correct a point around the signalling system in use and on future service frequencies}
I met with the Director of Metrolink, Peter Cushing, on 19 December after contacting him regarding recent performance of the network, its resilience and their plans to resolve these issues. There’s acceptance that things haven’t been great recently, but clear signs of plans in place to bring service up to a good standard and deal with the most pressing issues across the network.
The points detailed below are my interpretation of this meeting; I have invited Metrolink to comment on any inaccuracies or misinterpretations, which I will address and republish should they arise.
