Residents in Brazil’s largest city are as keen on getting bargains as people anywhere else. This is certainly true of Olga da Rocha Santana and her family. Hairdresser Olga, 69, plus eleven other family members have been camping out for five days at the entrance to Sao Paolo’s Aricanduva Shopping Mall.
They’re at the head of the queue for a popular New Year discount sale. They’re particularly interested in sporting goods ( including an exercise bike) offered by the ‘Network Magazine Luiza’ store whose sale is due to start at five o’clock today.
Nationwide the chain of stores has over 700 outlets for the discount clearance but one of the most popular is this SP location.
