
That teeny, tiny little spec? That’s Earth… from Mars.
NASA released the image Thursday- the first photo of our humble planet taken from Mars’ surface by the Curiosity Rover.
According to scientists, if standing on Mars, human eyes would be able to see the Earth as a “bright evening star” but it looks like we might have to squint really, really hard to do so.
A cool reminder that we are very, very small in the scheme of things.
