The early Manchester daytime brought about a hazy, dreary fog. Temperatures plummeted from a welcoming 13 degrees the previous day to a much unanticipated 4 degrees. Thankfully it wasn’t here to last, as the warmth returned back to a mild 12 degrees with blue skies towards the late afternoon. Although I’ve never been, this is what I’d somewhat expect Beijing to resemble during one of its days filled with smog. Tonight was the first of many meetings regarding our year abroad, namely a requirements briefing.

今天早上曼城一片大雾， 温度也比昨天低很多，只有四度。但是幸好，下午的温度变回了十二度，天也变蓝了。虽然我没有去过北京，可是这些照片让我觉得很像北京的雾霾。今晚的会议是第一个针对留学学生的会议，对我们未来的留学生活做了简单的介绍。
