Today is the first day of spring which is also celebrated as Nowruz, Persian new year. More than 300 million people worldwide celebrate this time of the year and a city like Tehran becomes more vibrant than ever. Tehran is very busy and it’s high on traffic. This noisy city provides quite a contrast when it comes to experiencing a new culture. Make sure to be open for any surprises if you decide to visit Tehran. You can expect to see everything from luxurious buildings to down town poverty. However you can also find a big amount of historical and cultural places to visit as well as experiencing lots of nature. If you’re looking for adventures no matter if it’s skiing, mountain climbing or hiking in the forests Tehran has got it all.
