I recently watched the documentary “Beautiful Losers” which featured a slew of some of my creative heroes (many who inspired me to get into the creative industry in the first place) and their work. Quite a few of them have transitioned from pure art into commercial work for advertising and music videos. So much inspiration there, so little time.
One of the featured creatives was Geoff Mcfetridge who’s already stellar popularity has skyrocketed due to his work on the Spike Jonze film “Her” (which if you haven’t watched yet, is a damn shame). His style has become pretty distinguished and he has collaborated with great artists to extend his work across various mediums, such as this effort with OK Go. Featuring typical symbolic Mcfetridge illustration stop motion animated across some golden delicious slices of toast.
