Transition – Joanne Parker

Transition is a short video which brings together a group of people by linking random actions together into a clear linear narrative. The idea behind this film was to find a way of making a series of short clips appear to be one continuos shot which tells story which starts with one specific person and ends with the same person in the same room. To do this I filmed each part separately and found a key point to link the two videos together (i.e. a person looking at the same picture on a mobile phone.

No phone apps have been used to enhance this video as the phone was brand new and I was restricted by time.

The video was filmed on a HTC One M8 smartphone, and the song is “Air Balloon” by Lilly Allen.
