As you all probably know by now, the World Cup 2014 will be hosted by Brazil in June and July. Despite accusations that the country will not prepared to take the influx of people or that the stadiums will not be finished, I think that this is a great opportunity for Brazil to be put on the map as a developing economy. If all goes well, Brazil will be looked at, by the rest of the world, in a positive light; that they can and did overcome the many who looked at them and scoffed.

As you may also know, the World Cup in 2010 was serenaded by Shakira shaking her groove thing to “Waka Waka.” This year, Pitbull featuring Jennifer Lopez were selected to sing “We Are One.” It’s a catchy tune (although in my opinion, not nearly as good as “Waka Waka”). You can see the video at…
