I’m taking this one post to speak about something other than beauty, fashion and the other stuff I usually blog about. Not because I want to act like a pretentious person or make myself out to be a good samaritan with a holier than thou attitude but because I feel like this is a documentary everyone should watch.

I watched this thinking that I already knew what it was like in the ‘favelas’ of Brazil. Favela is the name given to the slums in Brazil. I’ve watched Cidade de Deus (City of God), a film which is worryingly accurate when depicting favelas, and I’ve seen quite a few documentaries on poverty in Brazil. However, every time I do so, I find myself sickened and shocked with what I see.
