A defiant community has rallied around to clean up a Jewish cemetery targeted in a racist vandalism attack.
More than 100 people from different walks of life came together to help restore Blackley Jewish Cemetery after dozens of headstones were pushed over and daubed with swastikas.
The show of unity came as two teenage boys were arrested over the sickening attack.
Harry Johnston, who helped organise Sunday’s clear-up, said it was a ‘heartwarming’ event to be involved in.
