When you see images of the Earth taken from space, you can appreciate the blue oceans, mountain chains or green forests but no borders separating countries. This is something we like to stress during our activities.

Borders are inventions made by people. People who are more interested in what differentiates us than what we have in common. People who prefer to build walls that tear us apart rather than bridges to bring us closer.

We prefer those bridges. Bridges like El Puente de la Amistad (the Bridge of Friendship) between the cities of Cobija (Bolivia) and Brasileia (Brazil). It couldn’t be a better name for the place where we entered Brazil and started the second phase of the BraBo Expedition.

Bem vindos a Brasil!
