The ceiling of the Cathedral of Brasilia (Catedral Metropolitana de Nossa Senhora Aparecida) is a modern work of architecture and art. It was designed by Brazil’s most famous architect, maestro Oscar Niemeyer and it can easily be one of the best of his numerous works. Brasilia itself is an interesting to visit as since the 1960s it stands as a giant monument for urban planning.
