Rio is divided in three parts for me: The south zone (zona sul), the north zone (zona norte) and Barra.
Barra is like a little brazilian Miami. A long beach bordered by brand new gigantic buildings, for miles and miles. The end of that pretty young part of town hides some beautiful beaches I’ll introduce in another post. But right now, I want to present you a little hill hidden between the last neighborhood before Barra, Leblon, and the beginning of Barra, called Sao Conrado. That hill is called Joa (Pedra do Joa).
