Elsa Shooting – Making Of Part 7

It’s been quite a while since my last post. Meanwhile I started to work on Elsa’s train. I used a lot of blue shimmering organza. Even more since I didn’t want a seam in the middle. My pattern conssists of  5 parts in different lengths and shapes. First I started, just as usual, with some old fabric which I roughly cut to the length I needed. Then I pinned it together, without any further cutting and used some extra pins to pin it to the desired shape, which I used for my final pattern. Sorry no photo of that. Anyway, I carefully unpinned the 5 parts without changing the pinned shape. Then I used each of the pinned to shape parts as a template for my pattern.
