Brazil lives and loves carnival as no one else. And the world owe Brazil for it.
There several ways how to spend it, from sambadrom till renting the apartment in the center where processions are passing. But coolest and also cheapest way is to go on the street and follow blocs. So did us. Arrived early in the morning to Olinda and while waiting the bloc “mangue” of my friend Joao to start, we covered us with mud, for fun, sun screen and better gliding trough people mass (only disadvantage: taxi drivers neglected us a ride home).

And than we rushed. I don’t have many pics from it, on carnival you can be either photograph or take part in procession, as your highest attention to dance, follow bloc, don’t loose your friends in crowd and not/to kiss someone is required. Remember, Brazilians are loving kissing? Carnival is just perfect occasion…
