I’m a bit blown away by the facilities here. After being closed for what seemed like an eternity, central library reopened in 2014 and it was worth the wait. If you are a member not only do you have access to all the books but also a media lounge, Appled up to the hilt, along with PCs – loaded with all the software you need to be creative. If you are not a member you can pay by the hour, a whole £1.50. So, if like me you utilise cloud storage space for a lot of your work, you could easily get away with not carting around your own equipment.
