I’ve had a really hectic weekend but yesterday (Sunday 15th July) I went to Manchester with a friend to enjoy the parade happening in the city centre. Despite Manchester Day being held for the fifth year running now, this was the first time I had ever heard of it but it’s better late than never to join the party I suppose.

For those of you who do not know, Manchester Day is a day to celebrate all things Manchester related, as well as expressing the community’s pride to be a part of Manchester. I loved seeing how diverse and unique Manchester is too, and seeing people from all cultures and backgrounds taking part in the parade.
