Ricardo de Castro Monteiro stunned the crowd at São Paulo’s Virada Cultural event when he played his piano hanging above spectators, and was then joined by dancing acrobat Sandra Miyazawa who danced above him as he played.

The show was surely a spectacle, though not the first time he has showcased his aerial music performance. He also performed a song with singer Leda Cruz and another with accordion player Lívia Mattos.

His act was only one of many throughout the duration of the 24 hour festival, which included appreciation of the culture in many different forms, including cooking, art and theatre. The festival was surely a great event for the residents of São Paulo.
