The Salford Quays area, in particular, MediaCityUK as a hub for the BBC and ITV, is one of the most attractive destinations for tourists in Greater Manchester. According to a new master plan of the London’s South Bank, Salford Quays is aiming for 3.4 million visitors per year by 2017! Previously the site of Manchester Docks, Salford Quays has become one of the largest urban regeneration projects in the country.

Nowadays, the Salford Quays is a lovely place, very smart and cosmopolitan. With infrastructure improvements, such as bringing into service the Metrolink Stop, it makes The Salford Quays far easier to get to from the city centre for walking and cycling.
