The Blue Pig in the Northern Quarters (Manchester) has always attarcted me. Though I have never been to this pub, there is something strangely attractive about the name and the ‘Blue Pig’ hanging by the chain outside the door welcoming all its guests. This photograph was taken on a rainy day when all the cutomers of this pub chose to desert the chairs outside and enjoy a sumptous meal in the heated interiors of the pub.
