Invader is the pseudonym of a well-known French urban artist, he took his name from the 1978 arcade game called Space Invaders. Invader’s work is modelled on the crude pixellation of 8-bit video games, his characters are created from square ceramic tiles. If you have seen the amazing street art documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop by Banksy, you have seen Invader during his work.
