I did it! I made it through my first week in Tokyo! It was very exciting.
Food in Tokyo is incredibly tasty and affordable. I never thought I would spend less than or equalto the same amount I would spend to cook a meal at home. Crazy. But it’s true because I’ve done the math. If I can buy lunch for 500-700 yen I am pretty much spending the same amount to make one meal from scratch. And while I couldn’t buy that kind of lunch in Roppongi, I can in Kuramae. 🙂
Nevertheless, my supermarket in Roppongi does lots of sales on their perishable foods after 7:30PM and I got to try random things, like SUPERMARKET SUSHI IS SUPER FRESH AND YUMMY.
