Somewhere in South Brazil in what is left of the Atlantic Rainforest (88% of the rainforest has been lost and replaced with human modified landscapes) we spent a night learning traditions of a tribe that was native to the region. The professor wouldn’t let us go on a tour into the rainforest stating that “a girl had gotten bit in a previous year and it wasn’t safe”.

This is the type of home that the people native to the Atlantic Rainforest lived in before modern technology intervened.
This is the entry to the rainforest which I snuck to, I wanted to go explore, but I know enough to know that it would be stupid to sneak into a place I know nothing about not telling anyone where I was.
