On Thursday 5th May, students from the Manchester School of Architecture held an ‘Urban Games’ event in the city. There was a series of games developed by the students, including ‘incremental catch , ludi ladders and don’t wake the line walkers’,aimed at creating a physical connection between people and place, revealing the city to the players, and having fun in the process.
Another game played was ‘Pole to Pole’ in which two teams raced up Market Street, stretching between street furniture, and requiring the involvement of passers by to bridge the larger gaps.
Check out the gallery of images to see what the students achieved. Great collaboration and connections!
