I went to Ouro Preto carried by a friend for Carnaval and I couldn’t be more thrilled. As it was decided in the last minute, we couldn’t buy any of day parties that goes the whole day. This is what the Ouro Preto Carnaval is famous for.
Tiradentes Square
It didn’t matter at all, because all the streets and squares were full with free parties, shows and concerts. Beer selling on the street, bars and hotels packed with people.
It was non stop, from sunrise to the last one standing.

The third way of doing Carnaval in Ouro Preto is by the Frat Houses. Most of those house parties starts when the sun goes down.
