In Spain, Easter (Semana Santa; Holy Week) is a very significant time of year where the majority of the country celebrates with processions/church services. In order to celebrate everything properly the entire week before Good Friday is a holiday (instead of only two days off, Good Friday and Easter Monday). Since we had so much time at our disposal, Julen and I took advantage of the holidays and spent nine days travelling to three cities south of Barcelona; Valencia, Murcia, and Granada.
