Hurray! It’s another great moment for Paraguay’s annual carnival.
Sex appeal has taken over Encarnación as residents join in the long-awaited season of love with their most colorful samba dancer costumes.
The largest annual carnival in the country kicked off in the city of Encarnación, a location of about 375 km from Asunción.

The Carnival in Paraguay lasts five weekends in a row.

The first procession of the season was held in Encarnación on January 27 and the last one to be held on February 25.

The annual event has been held since 1916.
