If you’re a fan of street art and graffiti, one place to admire some creative expression is in Lisbon, Portugal! The colorful paint and tiled buildings are a perfect contrast against the bright whites and terra cotta tiles. Everything just looked more alive and vibrant than anything we were familiar with. During our visit in Lisbon, we stumbled upon this street art without effort. There is much more to see if you put in a little research or effort to trek back to the amazing buildings we saw covered in art on our way from the airport. At the Picoas Station and Alfama area near the sea, you’ll find some of the most well recognized displays you find by googling “Lisbon street art”.
