Brazil and United Kingdom have come to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in cyber security through strengthening the relations between two states on Friday, April 7th, 2017 in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.
The bilateral agreement is about strengthening cyber security, particularly in Brazil. The representative of United Kingdom said that they are ready to develop international norms by prioritizing responsible state behavior principle, upgrading cyber infrastructure by sharing expertise from United Kingdom to Brazil, and providing digital economy sciences to Brazil as well.
“Brazil and United Kingdom have been cooperating for a couple times, and research and development cooperation is one of it. We, nonetheless, hope this cooperation that was just made today will reinforce the bilateral relation,” said the representative of Brazil.
